The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is one of the largest unspoiled ecosystems left in the world, and one of the most diverse. Home to polar bears, caribou, wolves, more than 200 species of birds, and more, its lands and waters are critical to both migratory and resident wildlife.
The Arctic Refuge is currently under threat from both climate change and the Trump
administration, which plans to open the refuge to oil and gas drilling.
